Joyful Nanny Bali (“we”, “us”, “our”) is operated by Vera as an individual, based in Bali, Indonesia. We care about your privacy and keep things simple: we only collect what we need to answer your message and arrange care for your family, and we never sell your information.

This policy covers the information we handle when you visit our website, contact us through the form or on WhatsApp, or otherwise get in touch. If you do not agree with it, please do not send us your details.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what you choose to share with us, and a little basic technical information:

  • Your contact details — your name and the phone number, WhatsApp, or email you use to reach us.
  • Your booking details — where you are staying in Bali (villa, hotel, or resort), the dates and hours you need, your children’s ages, and anything you tell us about your family’s needs.
  • Your messages — the content of what you send us through the form, WhatsApp, or email.
  • Basic technical data — standard information your browser sends when you visit the site (such as device type and pages viewed), used only to keep the site working and secure.

Please do not send us sensitive information beyond what is needed to arrange care.

3. How we use it

We use your information to:

  • Reply to you and answer your questions.
  • Agree the details of your booking and provide the care you ask for.
  • Keep a simple record of our arrangement with you.
  • Keep the website working and safe.

We only use your information for these purposes. We do not add you to marketing lists, and we do not make automated decisions about you.

4. Children’s information

Because we provide childcare, you may share details about your children, such as their ages, routines, allergies, or needs. You provide this as their parent or guardian, and we use it only to give your children safe, appropriate care. Our website is intended for parents and families, not for children, and we do not knowingly collect information directly from children.

5. Who we share it with

We never sell your information. We share it only with the trusted services that help us run our business, and only as needed:

  • Our website host (Vercel) — runs the website that receives your message.
  • Google — if you use our contact form, your submission is saved to a private Google Sheet and emailed to us so we can respond.
  • WhatsApp (Meta) — if you choose to message us on WhatsApp, your message is handled under WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy policy.

We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety and rights of your family, our team, or others.

6. Cookies & analytics

Our website is simple and does not use advertising or tracking cookies. We may use basic, privacy-friendly analytics to understand how many people visit the site, but this does not identify you personally. If we ever add tools that use cookies, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your information only for as long as we need it to answer your message, arrange your care, and keep a reasonable record afterward. When we no longer need it, we delete it. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below).

8. Your choices & rights

You can ask us at any time to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can ask us to stop contacting you. Just email us at joyfulnannybali@gmail.com and we will help. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your local privacy laws, and we will honour them.

9. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information and use reputable providers to store it securely. No method of sending or storing information online is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we treat your family’s details with care.
